Vitamin C ester - Our Reviv creams are made with Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C Ester). Vitamin C Ester is made of L-ascorbic acid joined with a fatty acid creating an ester bond. Our Vitamin C Ester stimulates collagen production plus it is fat-soluble, making it stable, non-acidic, completely nonirritating to the skin and offers maximum protection against free radicals at the precise spot that they do the most damage; the outside of the cell. Vitamin C Ester also displays greater antioxidant activity in the skin cells than ascorbic acid does, and performs this vital task at lower doses. Our Acai Berry extract is loaded with polyphenols, phytochemicals and anthocyanin antioxidants. Phytochemicals characterize the whole picture of the beneficial compounds found in the acai extract and the anthocyanin antioxidants contain the most highly concentrated forms of anthocyanins known. The properties of the antioxidants in acai protect the skin from inflammation and collagen breakdown. The antioxidant capacity of acai prevents oxidants from damaging skin connective tissues and it helps to repair damaged skin cells.

Argireline is a deep penetrating amino peptide that helps to relax the intensity and frequency of facial muscle contractions. It deters the degeneration of collagen reducing depth of lines and wrinkles. Argireline works through a unique mechanism, which relaxes the facial tension leading to a reduction in superficial facial lines and wrinkles with regular use. Argireline locally disrupts nerve signals sent to muscles, relaxing the muscles and flattening the overlying skin.

Vitamin E tocotrienol - Our Reviv creams use Vitamin E in the form of Tocotrienol which is 40 times stronger and more effective at repairing skin damage than traditional Tocopherol Vitamin E (Source: Journal of Nutrition, February 2001, pages 369-373). Vitamin E from Tocotrienol is an active ingredient that has free radical scavenging, moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. It helps protect the cellular membrane from free radical damage and improves the skin's water binding abilities (retains moisture).

Matrixyl 3000 is a crow's feet reduction peptide. It is designed to promote collagen production while strengthening the essential structure of skin tissue. Matrixyl 3000 remarkably encourages skin tissue to restore itself to a more youthful strength while promoting deep tissue repair. When skin is wrinkled, tiny cells called fibroblasts help to repair the damaged area by forming new tissue. Part of the fibroblasts job is to produce new collagen, an essential component of connective tissue. Although your fibroblasts never completely lose their ability to create more collagen, with age your levels dwindle and your skin dries out and wrinkles.

Chrysin is a dark circles remover - Chrysin belongs to the flavone class of flavonoids. Chrysin is found naturally in various plants but our Chrysin is principally obtained from the plant Passiflora Coerulea. Laboratory tests have proven that Chrysin activates the enzyme Uridine Diphosphate-glucuronosyltransferase (UGT1A1) and helps to eliminate bilirubin and biliverdin accumulated in the dermis and epidermis. Bilirubin and biliverdin is what you see under the skin below your eyes, also known as “ dark circles”.

Rosehip seed oil - contains Vitamin A, which helps to delay the effects of skin aging, assists with cell regeneration, and promotes collagen and elastin levels to increase. This results in firmer, smoother, and more youthful skin with greater elasticity. Rosehip seed oil also contains a high amount of essential fatty acids and Vitamin E, which further promotes healthy skin. In particular, it is rich in linoleic and linolenic acids, which are important skin nutrients.

Aspen Bark Extract – is a natural preservative derived from the quaking aspen tree found in northern America. The bark is rich in salicylates which inhibits the growth of mold and yeast. It also offers smoothness and refines pores through its naturally occurring salicylic acid ( beta hydroxy acids).
